Why does the map load on the country instead of the city?

When the widget's Starting point is set to User's location via IP address, the store locator tries to determine location based on visitor's IP address, so it can load the map on that city.

Unfortunately, this method is not 100% accurate. Sometimes, we're unable to find the location, so we zoom out to the country level instead.

Of course this does not prevent the user from navigating to their location manually. They can still click the "find me" button to use browser geolocation (which is usually very accurate) or type in their location in the search box.

Since IP addresses are dynamic and can change over time, we update our list every month to keep it up-to-date.
