Why is location sharing not working even though it's enabled in settings?

There are two main reasons why location sharing (browser geolocation feature) can be disabled on your browser:

  1. You could be using an older browser that doesn't support this feature.
  2. Your site is running over http and you could be using a newer browser (like Chrome 50 and up), that has started disabling geolocation features on insecure origins (non-HTTPS websites).

If this feature is not supported by the browser, the locator will automatically disable the "find me" button and not show geolocation features to the visitor.

The best way to solve this issue is to install an SSL certificate on your site, so that it's available via https.
